EAD (Electronic acoustic drum) is Yamaha’s unique way of capturing your whole acoustic drum kit in stereo using one dedicated sensor unit.


EAD lets you easily shape and enhance your sound by blending the natural kit tone with effects and electronic sounds.


EAD50 is the newest model, taking the original EAD concept even further.


It captures the character and energy of your acoustic kit, then lets you smoothly mix in effects and electronic sounds and make changes in real time with an intuitive, hands-on workflow.


With improved sound quality, a more refined user experience, and a wider range of uses, EAD50 is a major step forward from EAD10 in every area.


Whether playing live, recording, practising, teaching, or streaming, EAD50 opens up new ways to perform and gives drummers even more creative freedom and control.
