Gibson 57 Classic Plus Potted 2-conductor Double Classic White Pickup

The ’57 Classic Plus was designed to give players that extra oomph when they need to turn up to 11! It is often paired with the regular ’57 Classic, our top-selling pickup, in the rhythm (neck) position and delivers more power and output for use in the treble (bridge) position.

Made to the same specifications as the original Patent Applied For humbucker™ pickups but with more winds for increased output, the ’57 Classic Plus uses Alnico 2 magnets, nickel-plated pole pieces, nickel slugs, maple spacers, and vintage-style, two-conductor braided wiring. It features balanced coils for a smooth, creamy tone and excellent hum cancellation. The coils are also wax-potted to remove all internal air space and any chance of microphonic feedback.
