Flauta Travesera Yamaha YFL212

The Yamaha YFL212 Student Model Flute is designed for beginners developing their sound, technique, and playing confidence. Its silver-plated nickel-silver body and headjoint keep the instrument lightweight while reducing air resistance. This helps you get notes speaking without using excessive air, while producing the bright, crisp tone associated with nickel-silver construction.

The CY headjoint combines a double flare taper with a specially undercut embouchure hole, helping beginners find a responsive, warm tone while supporting quick response across the registers. Closed-hole keys make reliable tonehole sealing easier, while the Offset G layout encourages a comfortable hand position. You also get a Split E mechanism for greater stability and more centred intonation on high E. Drawn and curled toneholes contribute to a broad, light sound, and Yamaha's carefully positioned keys provide a natural feel as your technique develops.
