A band on Saturday, a service on Sunday, a conference on Monday. Every event asks something different, and the X32 remembers each one. Recall one of 100 scenes and the 25 motorised faders move back to where you left them, with every preamp setting restored.
Every channel has its own colour LCD for name, number and colour, and the 7-inch screen shows the function or effect you are editing. Eight DCA groups and six mute groups put a busy stage under a few faders.
Thirty-two Midas-designed preamps take your microphones. Sixteen mix buses and six matrix outputs feed wedges and rooms, and a virtual rack of eight true-stereo effects engines with over 60 FX models stands in for outboard effects units.
Two AES50 ports carry 96 x 96 signals, so an optional S16 digital stage box can sit with the band. Ultranet sends 16 channels to optional P-16 personal mixers, and editing software connects over Ethernet.
The built-in X-USB card streams up to 32 tracks to and from a computer, so tonight's performance can be mixed again tomorrow. Or record a board mix straight to a USB drive.
