Vandoren JAVA mouthpieces are made from ebonite, without any use of other plastics. With a rich and colorful sound JAVA mouthpieces are suitable for jazz, soul and funk. Their sound concept is similar to that of a metal mouthpiece, but with the comfortable mouthfeel of ebonite.

Features

Vulcanised rubber (code ‘NR’ (Natural Rubber))

Produced entirely from natural materials: natural rubber (latex extracted from the hevea brasiliensis plant, therefore renewable), sulphur (approx. 30%) and linseed oil.

The ebonite used by Vandoren is a certified non-toxic material in compliance with European Directive EU 2009/48/EC, Annex II, Part III
