Yamaha CSM1465A Maple 14"x6,5" Concert Snare Drum

The CSM1465A delivers a powerful sound with its 6.5 inch shell made from 6-ply maple. The drum includes two snare types; one snare type is made with spiral shaped stainless-steel wires (standard) and the other with straight wires. This drum with snares made from rust-free and wound steel offers a slightly longer sustain and is well suited for classic music, march music, pop and similar styles. The snares with the straight wires delivers a clear sound and is particularly effective in large rooms with long reverberation time or playing complicated rhythms in an orchestra.
