The Tama CK82S-VWS Superstar Classic is an eight-piece maple drum set in the limited Double Bass edition. The shells are made of Maple and are equipped with high quality shell hardware like the Star Mount, the Classic T-Badge and triple flanged hoops.

The highest priority for Tama in producing the Superstar series of drums was sound. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the Superstar drums were achieved by utilizing carefully selected maple shells and focusing intently on shell molding and the bearing edge shape. Visually, the Tama Superstar Classic shells feature a fine matte lacquer finish.
