Larsen Aurora A Medium Tension Cello String

All Aurora cello strings are based on a quality solid steel core. The A and D strings are then wound with a corrosion-resistant alloy, the G string in nickel, and C in tungsten. The full size (4/4) strings are available in a heavy tension in addition to the medium tension. The heavy tension is ideal for players who prefer more resistance to the bow, but more volume as a result.

Younger players can also benefit from the fantastic start to the cello these strings offer with the available fractional sizes. Available in just a medium tension, great for players who aren't experienced with different string tensions, the sizes range from 3/4 size all the way to 1/16 size. Such a large range of sizes to choose from enables any player to get the boost that Auroras offer, regardless of their age or size.
